Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau said industry members can now send an email to the Alcohol Labeling & Formulation Division while logged into COLAs Online. Other improvements to the COLAs Online process include:
— A new field to step 3 of the application where applicants with foreign language text on their label must enter the English translation. Failure to provide translations of foreign text is one of the top reasons we have to send applications back for correction, and this new field will make it obvious when and where to provide translations.
— Increased file size for uploads. Previously we limited file sizes to 750 KB, but now you may upload label images and other files that are up to 1.5 MB.
— PNG files now allowed. In addition to JPG files, you may now upload PNG files in COLAs Online.
