America’s Oldest Brewer is now America’s largest craft brewer, Brewers Association said in its annual ranking of the top 50 craft brewers. D.G. Yuengling & Sons is followed in the Top 10 list by publicly held Boston Beer Co., Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., Duvel Moortgat, Gambrinus, Bell’s Brewery, CANarchy, Stone Brewing Co., and Deschutes Brewery.
When it comes to the Top 50 Overall Brewing Companies, it’s no surprise that Anheuser-Busch continues as No. 1, followed by MillerCoors, Constellation, Heineken and Pabst Brewing Co.
But the No. 6 slot among the Big Brewers is held by Yuengling, which outranks Diageo and FIFCO USA. Boston Beer is No. 9 in that ranking, followed by Sierra Nevada.
