Penna. Bill Would End Liquor License Fee for Fire Companies, Vet Groups

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board charges all applicants a $700 a year fee for their liquor licenses.  The bill abolishing the fee for fire companies, American Legion and VFW posts, among others cleared a Pennsylvania House committee.  It now goes to the full House.  One lawmaker would go further, eliminating the fee for everyone.  That amendment failed, 185-14.
