That $8 million is before deducting EF Hutton Group’s cut for running the offering and will buy 2 million shares.  The underwriters can purchase an additional 300,000 shares in 45 days.  The offering is expected to close Thursday (2/17).

Busch Light to Sponsor All Women NASCAR Drivers

Busch Light said it will spend $10 million over three years to sponsor every 21+ woman driver in NASCAR.  The commitment includes more funding, track time, media exposure and training.  The brand noted that no women compete at NASCAR’s highest level.

“Busch Light has been an iconic sponsor in NASCAR for decades and we’ve been lucky to witness some of the greatest women drivers in history, but it can’t be argued that the NASCAR Cups Series field is dominated by male drivers,” said Krystyn Stowe, Senior Brand Director, Busch Family of Brands at Anheuser-Busch. “Through our sponsorship rights and our platform, we’re seizing the opportunity to make historic progress toward gender inclusivity and while the immediate program goals may start here, we hope the sentiment will carry far beyond that, encouraging the broadest level of inclusivity across all sports.”

Busch Light is proud to play a part in the larger cultural movement toward equity in sport, and the program will help build the next generation of women drivers by elevating those who currently pave the path. The inaugural sponsorship recipients of the Busch Light Accelerate Her program are Toni Breidinger, Natalie Decker, Amber Balcaen, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Brittney Zamora, Stephanie Moyer and Melissa Fifield. Additionally, with an eye toward the future, a portion of the $10M commitment will also be reserved as a standing sponsorship fund for up-and-coming talent.

Maison Courvoisier Unveils New Look, Names Ambassador, Appoints Chief Blender

The new packaging rediscovers distinctive codes from centuries past that made Courvoisier iconic during the Belle Époque era, the opening of the Eiffel Tower and while gracing the royal courts of Europe during the 20th century.

The brand also appoints Yinka Ilori as its “Ambassador of Joy,” a role created exclusively for the London-based multidisciplinary artist who is best known for fusing his subject with his British-Nigerian background to create unique and memorable stories through contemporary design.

Inspired by Courvoisier’s unique embodiment of the French belief to savor life’s true pleasures, Ilori introduces “We Found Joy,” a fully immersive series of global events which brings the beauty of summer in Courvoisier’s home of Jarnac, France to life. It will kick off in New York City on March 3, 2022 and travel to cities worldwide later in the year.

Maison Courvoisier also announced the retirement of Patrice Pinet as chief blender.  He will be succeeded by Thibaut Hontanx.

Armed Forces Brewing to Release 1st Light Beer on President’s Day

Armed Forces Brewing Co. said it will release its first light beer, Preamble – We The People, on President’s Day – Feb. 21.

“Preamble is crisp, clean and made with one malt and a single American hop grown by U.S. Military Veterans at Dog Star Hops in Michigan. It has a light malt sweetness balanced by a restrained herbal hop profile formulated by our award-winning brewmaster, Bob Rupprecht,” Alan Beal, Armed Forces Brewing CEO said.

The beer will be available on President’s Day in select stores in Maryland and Virginia, and consumers can order it online at www.Preamble.Beer. Preamble will also be available in Eastern Pennsylvania and Florida in March. It is scheduled to hit the shelves in HEB stores in Texas in late Spring. A portion of the profits from Preamble – We The People will be donated to the John Daly – Major Ed Heart of a Lion Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides support for children, first responders and America’s Veterans.

Angel’s Envy Releases Limited Edition Rye Finished in Ice Cider Casks

The fourth release in Angel’s Envy‘s Cellar Collection, this limited-run of just 6,000 bottles marks the brand’s first new finished rye offering since 2013

Beginning today, members of Angel’s Envy’s 500 Main can enter to win the chance to purchase the release ahead of the official launch; public sale will begin on Feb. 25 at select retailers in New York, California,Florida, Tennessee, Illinois, Texas and Florida, as well as at Angel’s Envy’s distillery.

“The flavor profile of this whiskey is very unique – the spiciness of the rye is balanced by the fruity sweetness from the ice cider casks, and there’s a crispness that is really distinct. We’ve never seen a whiskey finished in ice cider casks before, so we’re excited to introduce this finish as part of our Cellar Collection,” said Kyle Henderson, Angel’s Envy’s Distillery Production Manager. “My brother, Andrew, was the one who found these barrels and raised the idea of an ice cider finish; he’s really championed this project from the beginning. As we tasted samples and learned more about the craftsmanship, time and resources required to create each bottle of ice cider, we fell in love with the product and the process and knew these special casks would be an excellent match for our rye.”

Ice cider is a dessert-style cider that is produced primarily in the northern U.S. and Canada.
