For the first time this year, domestic tax paid shipments of beer rose in June.
Estimates by the Beer Institute showed shipments rising 699,000 barrels, or 4.4%, from a year earlier to reach 16,600,000 barrels.
Beer Institute noted that the estimates may be revised because Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau has delayed reporting and payment dates up to 90 days.
