How Tax Bill Will Benefit Brewers, Distillers, Vintners

A winery could receive a maximum tax credit of $451,700 in 2018 and 2019.  A brewery would see its excise tax bill slashed to $7 a barrel on the first 60,000 barrels produced, and a small brewer would see its tax lowered to $3.50 a barrel.  The tax would be slashed to $16 a barrel on the first 6 million barrels.  As for distillers, the tax rate would drop to $2.70 a gallon for the first 100,000 gallons.
