Hornitos Launches Campaign on Mexican Independence Day

It highlights the extraordinary things that can happen when people are willing to take a shot.

“A Shot Worth Taking” debuts on Saturday (9/16), the anniversary of the brand’s launch in 1950, and celebrates Hornitos’ history as a shot-taking, boundary-pushing brand by inspiring this same mentality among fans.

Nearly 70 years ago, Hornitos Tequila’s founders challenged the status quo and set new standards for how tequila is produced. “A Shot Worth Taking” campaign seeks to create opportunities and provide inspiration and courage to propel consumers to take shots of their own, no matter how big or small.

The campaign is about shot-taking through and through. The digital spots feature four real world shot-takers Hornitos discovered and connected with through their crowdfunding pages. Even the director of the ads is a shot-taker; giving up a career in fashion to move to Los Angeles in pursuit of her dream of becoming a director.
