DISCUS Invites Supply Chain Members to Join

For the first time in more than two decades Distilled Spirits Council of the U. S. (DISCUS) membership has been expanded beyond spirits companies to include businesses and associations that directly support or are related to the spirits industry.

“Our supply chains play a critical role in the success of the distilled spirits industry,” said Chris Swonger, President/CEO of DISCUS and Responsibility.org. “Creating this new Partner Membership Program will further strengthen the spirits industry by expanding our base of spirits advocates while receiving important input and technical expertise from our supply chain partners on key issues facing the industry.”

The new partner membership, which features different membership package options, will be offered to persons, firms, corporations and associations engaged in the distilled spirits supply chains and related businesses.

Through the Partner Membership Program, DISCUS will provide partner members with opportunities to connect with spirits industry leaders to exchange thoughts, resources and expertise, and provide support regarding the critical issues that impact the industry at large.

Depending on the chosen membership level, benefits include access to DISCUS expertise and analysis; interaction with spirits industry leaders and access to exclusive industry events; thought leadership and business development opportunities; signage at DISCUS events and inclusion of partner member logos on the DISCUS website; real-time state and federal issue tracking and legislative updates; and unique sponsorship opportunities not available to nonmembers.
