9 Bev/Al Companies Appear in Inc. 5000 List

Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 5000 fastest-growing companies in America is out, and nine bev/al companies are included.

CanSource, a Longmont, Colo., company that digitally prints cans for craft brewers and producers of other small batch seasonal beverages leads the bev/al list at No. 483.  The company’s growth rate is 1,047% over the last three years, bringing its total revenue to $11.5 million.

Votto Vines Inc., which we’ve highlighted before, continues its growth with a three-year annual growth rate of 665%.

Alcohol by Volume, a Carmel, Calif., wine company, ranked No. 1307 out of 5,000 with a three-year growth rate of 313%.

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, a Charlotte, N.C., craft brewer that serves the North and South Carolina region.  With a 277% growth rate over the last three years and 2016 revenue of $11.6 million, the company self-distributes.

Free Flow Wines leases kegs and provides filling, logistics and canning services to the wine and hospitality industries from its Napa, Calif., headquarters.  Three year growth rate is 142%, and 2017 revenue was $7.1 million.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, which runs a chain of wineries and tasting rooms in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin, ranked No. 3181 with a three-year growth rate of 106% and 2017 revenue of $241.8 million.

City Winery, of New York City, operates restaurant and entertainment venues.  Its three-year growth rate was 82% a year and 2017 revenue was $52.6 million.

Uncorked, of New Orleans, imports and distributes wines, spirits and beer from around the world.  The company has a three-year growth rate of 76% and 2016 revenue of $7.2 million.  It ranks No. 3829.

New Glarus Brewing Co., No. 4396 on the Inc. 500 list with a three-year growth rate of 58% had 2016 revenue of $58.4 million.   It’s been on the Inc. 5000 list for 11 years.
