The Thomas Fire has grown to over 200,000 acres. According to Cal Fire, 18,000 structures threatened, 794 structures have been destroyed, and 187 structures have been damaged.  So why is it so hard to contain?  Blame terrain, weather and . . .   Read more here, from the Los Angeles Times.
