Michael Cheek, who was Proximo Spirits first CEO, will be returning to the boss’s chair again, leading the business while parent Grupo Cuervo finds a new CEO for the subsidiary, following the resignation of Proximo president/ceo Mark Teasdale. Check was president of Brown-Forman’s global spirits division and of Heublein’s wine division, before joining Proximo after retiring from Brown-Forman.
