Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam signed a bill allowing spirits sales on Sundays to begin at 10 a.m. rather than noon.
The move was praised by David Wojnar, vp, Distilled Spirits Council: “Increasing shopping convenience is good for the consumer and good for Virginia. Virginia ABC stores are seeing a boost in revenue after implementing several consumer-friendly policies and we commend the Commonwealth for being a leader in modernization and innovation.”
