TTB Proposes Major Revamp of Labeling, Ad Regs

The intention, the agency says, is to improve understanding of the rules and make compliance less burdensome for industry members.

A major part of the change is to remove advertising regulations from the sections dealing with labeling of beer, wine and spirits.

In addition to simplifying the rules, the changes will incorporate statutory changes, international agreements, current TTB guidance documents and policy into the regulations.
