The latest data from IRI shows sales of imported and domestic spirits in the four weeks ended Aug. 11 were 12.8% higher than a year earlier. Volume was up 23.1%.
Domestic sales rose 10.2% to $210.7 million on a 15% rise in volume to 1.9 million cases. Imported spirits sales rose 5.25% to $241 million on a 3% increase in case volume, to 1.4 million cases.
