Shiner Beer Donates $100,000 to Fire Relief

Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas, craft brewer of Shiner Bock, donated $100,000 to several non-profit organizations to support relief efforts in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, a Category 5 hurricane that struck Puerto Rico on Sept. 20, 2017, and caused unprecedented devastation, including dozens of fatalities and lingering effects on the power grid, fresh water supplies and communication links, to name but a few. The contributions were made in connection with the local distributor of Shiner Beers in Puerto Rico, V. Suárez & Co., Inc., who helped us select the organizations to receive the contributions.
