Miller Lite Jabs Bud Light: ‘In Real World, Taste is What Matters’

The payback is a  . . . . Well, it’s a great look into film making, and it also gives Miller Lite a chance to take a not-too-subtle jab at Bud Light’s corn syrup ads.  Miller Coors thinks the spot will play well:  It’s bought a slew of commercials for the NCAA basketball tournament.

In “Aftermath,” the Bud Light knight is shown to be just a nerdy guy who after the director yells “Cut, cut” gets up, goes to a cast tent, passes by a cooler loaded with Bud Light to grab a Miller Lite.  The killer tagline:  “More Taste & Half the Carbs of Bud Light.”
