Marlin & Barrel Distillery Moving to New Home

Currently in a 4,500-square-foot building in downtown Fernandina, it will move to a building that is more than 13,000 square feet.  Distillery owner Roger Morenc is purchasing it. The distillery has been open for four years.

Morenc plans to invest about $1 million to upgrade the facility, a former automobile dealership with high arched wood ceiling, skylights and a yard that will be a biergarden and event space.  The idea, he said, is to make it into a tourist destination.
