LVMH Wine and Spirits Organic Revenue Up 7% in 3rd Period

The wine and spirits unit posted sales of €1.22 billion ($1.41 billion US) in the third quarter.

For the first nine months of 2018, the wine and spirits business group recorded organic revenue growth of 7%.  Champagne volumes were stable over the period. The prestige vintages performed particularly well while continuing a price increase policy. Hennessy cognac volumes increased by 4%. The US and Chinese markets grew rapidly, the company said.
