Lagier Meredith Vineyard Sells for $0

Owners Steve Legier Carole Meredith want to retire from winemaker and farming their small vineyard on Mount Veeder.  But they want to keep living in their home on their property.  So their friends Aaron and Claire Pott will take control of their vineyard and use the fruit for their Pott Wines.  And yes, that sale price of $0 is real.  It’s a steal in an era when other wineries have sold for $250 million to $725 million.  Read all about the deal here, from the San Francisco Chronicle.
