Kobrand will be the exclusive U.S. importer for the brand and responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the United States.
“As a family-owned company, Kobrand strives to partner with other family-owned businesses who share our commitment to building quality brands for the long-term,” said Robert T. DeRoose, Kobrand president/CEO.
“We recognized the potential of the Provence rosé category since the start of its explosive growth in the U.S., but have been selective in choosing the right partner for a long-term relationship. When we met Eric and the Kurver family, we were immediately impressed with the quality of the Maison Saint Aix estate in both the vineyards and at the winery, the quality of the AIX Rosé wine, and the quality of the AIX Rosé packaging and marketing approach.
“We are very confident that together we will continue to grow the prestigious AIX Rosé brand to yet higher heights and we look forward to a long and thriving partnership with Eric and his family,” DeRoose said.
“Maison Saint Aix is extremely proud and happy to team up with Kobrand as sole importer for the US to further develop the import and distribution of AIX Provence Rosé in the US,” says Eric Kurver, owner of Maison Saint Aix.
“Our successful selective distribution strategy, which made AIX one of the leading Provence Rosé brands around the world, will remain the core strategy for Kobrand and AIX Rosé. With the 2019 harvest nearly complete, we expect AIX 2019 to be gorgeous again and it will be available in the US through Kobrand in early spring 2020.”
Kobrand’s first offering to the USA will be the 2019 vintage of AIX Rosé, at a $23 SRP for 750ml bottles. A selection of large formats will also be available, from Magnum (1.5L) through Nebuchadnezzar (15L).
