The fire, which has burned 76,138 acres, is 15% contained, CalFire reported at 10 p.m. Tuesday (Eastern). Some 189 buildings have been destroyed, 39 damaged. High winds are expected to continue through today.
We previously reported that the Soda Rock Winery, which dates to 1869, had been destroyed. Four other wineries – Alexander Valley Vineyards, Field Stone Vineyard & Winery, Garden Creek Ranch Vineyards & Winery and Medlock Ames Vineyards – were damaged.
