James River Distillery Closing

The Richmond, Va., craft distiller said it will close at the end of June.  The distillery store will remain open Fridays and Saturdays through June.   To produce its gins, it used a rare vapor infusion method in which, during the third and final distillation in a 20-foot rectification column, the alcohol vapor is passed through the “gin basket” that holds its blend of botanicals.
