Indiana University Launches Private Label Collection

It’s called the 1820 Collection and includes a pinot noir, a cabernet sauvignon, a chardonnay, and a sauvignon blanc. The wine is produced by Brutocao Family Vineyards, Hopland, Calif.

David Brutocao, director of wine-making operations for the four-generation family business, was graduated from IU in 1983 with an MBA. Orders are fulfilled by Vinoshipper and have a three-bottle minimum.

Indiana University is marking its 200th anniversary in 2020.  The school was established by the state constitution of 1820 as the capstone to a free system of public education, from elementary school through college.
