Harrisburg Beer Week organizers donated $40,000 to its exclusive beneficiary, Harrisburg River Rescue and Emergency Services, taking its total in four years to $125,000 for the nonprofit emergency response team.
The donation was raised from proceeds from Harrisburg Beer Week, which ran April 20-29 2018. The 10-day annual event celebrates the local craft beer community while serving as a fundraiser for Harrisburg River Rescue.
“We’re so grateful for the support from this craft beer-loving community, the members of whom make Harrisburg Beer Week an impressive and imitable venture each year,” said Sara Bozich, Harrisburg Beer Week Co-Founder.
