Glunz Intros Hirter herbstCULT in Chicago Market

HerbstCULT is the fourth Hirter beer to be introduced to America by Glunz, following the Hirter Herbal Radler, Hirter Privat Pils, and Hirter Morchl, all currently available in Chicago through Glunz Imports. “Fall is the peak beer season in Chicago and around the world,” says President Jerry Glunz. “Our goal is to continue to introduce new and delicious beers to the Chicago market and beyond, and keep beer fans on their toes with specialty seasonals like the herbstCULT.”

Brewed by Brauerei Hirt of Micheldorf, Austria, the Hirter herbstCULT is a well-rounded märzen style beer with a mild first taste and pleasant effervescence. Complete with a compact, fine-poured white head, the beer tastes of a freshly baked loaf of bread.

At 5.4% ABV, the seasonal specialty becomes available late this month on draft at Chicagoland bars and restaurants, with nationwide rollout following soon thereafter.
