FYI —

It’s likely our elected leaders will vote to move the U.S. to permanent daylight savings time this year.  A major objection is that in much of the country, daylight savings time would mean people would get up and children would go to work in the morning.  That’s something that can easily be solved — simply adjust the time school starts.  If DST means children are walking to school in the dark, make school start an hour later.  Problem solved.
