Duckhorn Wine Co. is owned by TSG Consumer Partners. Kosta Browne, which produces 30,000 cases a year, is owned by another equity firm, JW Childs. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Duckhorn brands, well-known for Napa Valley Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, include Paraduxx, Decoy, Canvasback, Migration and Goldeneye brands. The last two also produce California Pinot Noir.
