The module, which was originally a live interactive training used by Diageo for several years to educate employees and with external partners, is now available on Diageo’s DRINKiQ website at https://www.DRINKiQ.com/en-us/DRINKiQ-course/whats-your-drink-iq/. The module is available now in the UK, U.S. and Australia, with localized versions rolling out to 20 other countries.
“Responsible drinking is part of everything we do at Diageo and bringing this DRINKiQ e-learning module to the public is a natural next step in giving consumers more information about alcohol and how it affects the body,” said Jon Pageler, EVP of Corporate Relations for Diageo North America. “Our goal is to continue to enhance the experience our consumers have with our brands – even when that means making a choice not to drink.”
The new, mobile-friendly tool uses interactive learning and tests to give people information about:
- What is in your drink? A user-friendly tool that helps estimate alcohol content in different beverages
- Background on what alcohol is, how it is processed and the different ways it can affect the body
- Tips for tracking intake both when entertaining at home and socializing when out
- Interactive exercises that demonstrate how to pour a standard measure of beer, wine and spirits
