CBrands Plans to Dump 40% of Wine & Spirits Portfolio

CFO David Klein told the Consumer Analysts Group of New York that “everything that is not a ‘power brand,’ you can assume we’re either going to sell it, discontinue it or milk it very quickly over the next year or so.”

What’s a power brand?  Any wine that sells for $11 or more.  Except Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi, which is the company’s largest selling brand.
