. . . But Alaska Town Considers a Hard Liquor Ban . . .

Hard liquor, under the ordinance being considered by the Bethel (Alaska) City Council is any beverage with more than 20% alcohol by volume. The proposed ordinance would also require liquor store owners to place stickers on each bottle with the store’s name and a health warning.  Bethel legalized liquor sales just two years ago.
