Budweiser, Astronaut to Mark 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing with Aid to Military Families

Budweiser will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing on Saturday, July 20 at Dodger Stadium, by presenting $25,000 to the Folds of Honor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to families of fallen military men and women.

On behalf of Budweiser, Terry Virts, former NASA astronaut, Air Force veteran and Dodgers super fan, will present the check to Rocky Sickmann, Vice President, Folds of Honor Foundation.

This year Budweiser debuted its new Discovery Reserve American Red Lager, a limited-edition beer inspired by the determination of the American spirit and based on an archival Budweiser recipe from the time of the Apollo Moon missions. The brand donates $1 to the Folds of Honor Foundation for every case sold of Budweiser Discovery Reserve.
