Atlas Brew Works to Release a Sustainable Beer

The Washington, D.C., brewery’s latest sustainable limited release is Ugly & Stoned. The tart, aromatic, and deep flavored beer was Atlas’ creative solution to a larger problem. The brewery, wanting to shed light on food waste in America, partnered with MOMs Organic Market and the Environmental Working Group to brew the collaboration with “ugly” stone fruit that is perfectly edible, but doesn’t meet consumer aesthetics. To celebrate the Ugly & Stoned release, Atlas will host different market events starting Wednesday, July 10, leading up to its Tap Room Release on Friday, July 12.
