Argentina’s Domaine Bousquet Adds Two Wines to Organic Virgen Range

Just a year after the highly successful U.S. debut of Virgen Organic Red Blend 2018, Domaine Bousquet’s first-ever USDA-certified, no-sulfites-added, vegan, organic wine, Argentina’s largest exporter of organically grown wines is adding a Virgen Organic Malbec 2019 and Virgen Organic Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 to the line. The U.S. launch of the two new wines coincides with release of the 2019 vintage Virgen Organic Red Blend. All three are line-priced at a budget-friendly SRP of $13 and are now shipping to major metropolitan markets nationwide.

“We were blown away by the response to our inaugural 2018 vintage Virgen Organic Red Blend, which sold out almost before it had landed in the U.S. U.S. wine lovers are more than eager for no-sulfites-added, no-oak wines, whose fresh fruit is center stage. They also continue to love Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, so the latest line extensions are a natural next-step,” said co-owner Labid Al Ameri

Family-owned and -operated Domaine Bousquet is Argentina’s largest exporter of wines made from organic fruit. The winery was a pioneer in Gualtallary, a sub-region of the Uco Valley in Mendoza. Today, high-altitude Gualtallary is one of the most prestigious wine areas in Argentina. All Domaine Bousquet wines are made exclusively from organic grapes. The winery released its first vintage in 2005 and now sells over 100,000 cases annually in the U.S. alone.
