Mass. Bay Brewing cited data suggesting the category is poised for popularity throughout the fall and winter months. A survey of nearly 1,000 adults ages 21+ revealed how Americans plan on drinking and celebrating with spiked seltzer throughout the holidays:
- Nearly one quarter (22%) of Americans plan on serving spiked seltzer this holiday season.
- 12% of those surveyed would choose spiked seltzer over champagne or sparkling wine.
- More than half of Americans (58%) wish healthier alcoholic drink options were available throughout the holidays.
