Opponents cite religious issues as well as the fact that some people have trouble controlling their drinking. Supporters say people can buy food whenever they want to, so why shouldn’t they be able to buy alcohol at 10 a.m. “If you choose to get up and drink, that’s your business,” one told WIAT-TV.
