Forbes is out with its annual list of the world’s most valuable companies, and two bev/al companies are on the list. Anheuser-Busch InBev moved up to No. 72, and Bacardi moved up to No. 84.
The rankings are based on feedback collected by the Reputation Institute from 170,000 respondents. RI records company scores using a proprietary system that focuses on seven categories: products and services, innovation, workplace, governance, citizenship, leadership and performance.
RI contends that reputation drives business. The higher the score a firm receives, the more likely its products are to be purchased or recommended. Respondents also said they would be more likely to say positive things about or even work for a given firm.
