A-B Offers Chance to Work on Real Pit Crew, Earn $50,000

The job working with the pit crew of the No. 4 Ford of driver Kevin Havick in the NASCAR Cup series is for the entire season.

The new team member will attend races throughout the season, training and flying with the SHR team, will be responsible for crucial race team tasks, and earn $50,000 for the 2021 season.

Instead of submitting a resume, or simply applying for the job, those interested will need to watch the Fox Sports coverage of the season opening Daytona 500 on February 14 and participate in a “live” job interview. According to the company, questions will be asked during the broadcast and on Busch beer’s twitter account, those who answer correctly will get a chance to move to the next round in the “interview” process.

“We love creating these unique NASCAR opportunities for fans to get involved with both the sport and our brand,” said Daniel Blake, VP of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch. “No one has ever conducted an interview during the Daytona 500 or given a fan a shot at joining a driver’s Racing Crew for the season, and we’re hoping to find an amazing candidate to join our NASCAR family with this once-in-a-lifetime job.”

The promotion is tied to the new Netflix show “The Crew” starring Kevin James as the crew chief of a fictitious Nascar team which will make its debut on February 15 the day after the Daytona 500.
