1st Kentucky Bourbon Trail Distillery Reopens with New Safety Measures

Wilderness Trail Distillery, Danville, Ky.,  will be enforcing social distancing guidlines, will require face marks and will limit the number of people in the Visitor Center to 10.  It is offering tours.  And it’s asking visits to pay with credit or debit cards rather than cash and to make reservations online.

To welcome visitors back, Wilderness Trail introduced a new six-year-old bourbon.  It’s the distillery’s oldest product; most of its products are aged for a little more than four years.

Wilderness Trail made more than 1,000 gallons of hand sanitizer, but now has shifted its focus to visitors and whiskey.
