WineSociety Debts 250ml Cans, Seeks to Expand Distribution

WineSociety, which claims to have the highest-rated wine in a can, has just  launched a new 250ml grab-and-go size of its flagship 500ml canned wines, Tempt, Fate, Chance and Chance Bubbles. The new size will be available beginning this April at select retailers throughout California, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas and Florida.  The brand is seeking to expand distribution.

“The timing couldn’t be better to launch this exciting new product,” says WineSociety Founder and CEO, Angela Allison. “With the TTB legalizing the most popular size (250ml cans) for individual sale in December 2020, the shift in the market due to the pandemic, and wine drinkers’ more mindful approach to consumption, we jumped at the opportunity to deliver on this offering.”

With the belief that consumers should not have to sacrifice quality for convenience, Allison paired her design background with her love for wine and started WineSociety in 2018 with the vision to bring great quality wine to households across America.

With the launch of the 250ml cans, WineSociety becomes one of the few woman-owned, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council-Certified (WBENC-Certified-WBE) wine brands to provide consumers with 250ml offerings and represents one of the few “can-only” wine companies.

WineSociety differentiates itself from others in the market with its sophisticated design and award-winning quality by being the first canned wine in history to receive top-tier ratings with 94 points and Platinum Medal at the 2019 International Wine & Spirits Competition for its Tempt Red Blend.

Erle Martin, Executive Vice President at WineBow says, “WineSociety has been a pioneer in paving the way for top quality wine in cans. The new 250ml format will surely be met with great enthusiasm by the trade and consumers alike.”

The 250ml cans will be available for purchase in 4-packs for $19.99 or sold individually for $4.99.
