Wine Group was accused of violating multiple California labor statutes.
Employees eligible for the class-action settlement include current and former hourly, non-exempt employees starting from August 2011 through March 2018 when the judge approved the preliminary class-action settlement, according to court filings.
Wine Group was accused of failing to properly pay overtime and minimum wages and to provide meal and rest breaks, according to court filings. The lawsuit also alleged the company failed to pay wages on time and maintain requisite paperwork, according to court records.
Wine Group denied the allegations, but agreed to settle anyway.
