Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. hires Kristi Brown as senior director-state government relations. She will succeed DISCUS Vice President of State Government Relations Dale Szyndrowski, who has announced his retirement, effective Sept. 15..  Brown joins from the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, where she was senior director of government affairs.
