Is ABI’s Higher Dividend at Risk?

Anheuser-Busch InBev pays an annual dividend of $3.21 per share and has a dividend yield of 3.1%. Anheuser-Busch InBev pays out 79.5% of its earnings in the form of a dividend, suggesting it may not have sufficient earnings to cover its dividend payment in the future. As a group, “Malt beverages” companies pay a dividend yield of 2.2% and pay out 47.9% of their earnings in the form of a dividend.
