A Maryland winery is setting fires to save its vineyard from ‘major loss’

It’s been exceptionally cold in Maryland this Spring — a winter weather advisory was issued in March in Montgomery County with 1-2 inch snow accumulation a possibility.  On March 12 the high was 28 degrees; normally the high is 54 in March.  That led Rocklands Farm Winery to set fires in its vineyard to save their harvest.
