How I Made It: Shed Distillery Founder Pat Rigney Learnt Spirit of Success From Baileys

Dubliner Pat Rigney has tasted a fair measure of success in a long career in the drinks industry. He worked in Baileys for 10 years and followed it up by working for its rival, Carolans.  He left to co-found Boru Vodka with fellow industry veteran Dave Phelan. After selling that, he set up Fastnet Brands, a drinks marketing consultancy, and co-founded distributor Dalcassian Wines & Spirits in 2005. Dalcassian started with himself, co-founder John Dillon and just one employee. Today the business, which he chairs, employs 40 people and has revenues of €13m.  (The Times of London)
