Only sparkling wines showed increased production, Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau reports.
Bulk still wine production fell to 150.5 million wine gallons from 167.9 wine gallons. Production of bottled still wines also fell, to 56.9 million wine gallons from 57.7 million gallons. Carbonated wines, however, saw increased production, rising to 3.6 million from 2.5 million wine gallons.
