U.S. Beer Production Fell 9.4% in August, TTB Says

Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau reports domestic brewers produced 15,393,693 barrels of beer in August, down from 16,944,015 a year earlier.  Year to date, total removals fell more than 5 million barrels, to 114,738,513 barrels from 119,735,000.
