The winery said sales in the third quarter were $5.4 million, up from $5.1 million a year earlier. The company earned $55,000 in the period, reversing a year-earlier loss of $183,000.
The sales gain was focused on the company’s wholesale business. It’s direct to consumer operation saw flat sales.
Truett-Hurst is moving production to leased space in the Sugarloaf custom crush facility, replacing a leased facility. Looking to the future, Truett-Hurst is considering building a 40,000-case winery at its Dry Creek estate to meet its long-term needs.
