People attending Anheuser-Busch’s “conversation” on tax reform were greeted by a few pickets. The Teamsters Union is engaged in a labor dispute with Clare Rose Distributing, the Anheuser-Busch distributor on Long Island.
The protesters carried signs and distributed handbills that read, “Anheuser-Busch: Tell Clare Rose To Pay Its School Taxes.”
A long-term tax break that began in 2009 reduced Clare Rose’s school tax bill by more than $370,000 in 2016 alone, the Teamsters Union said.
