Sibling Revelry Brewing, Westlake, Ohio, said it was doubling the size of its brewing to 20,000 square feet from 10,000.
Plans for the expansion include a barrel-aged program, additional production and cooler space, and a larger taproom footprint. Head Brewmaster Pete Velez says, “A barrel-aging program has been on my wish list since day one. We are so excited about it. Barrel-aging will bring even more depth to our beer lineup.”
The brewery had large plans for 2017, including production of new offerings after installing two 90-barrel fermentation tanks in January. The larger tank system, coupled with an increasing demand for Sibling Revelry in the Northeast Ohio market, has warranted the expansion. “We are proud to say we are a self-distributing brewery, and this development will give us more space to produce, can and store our beers,” says David Sorace, Director of Operations at Sibling Revelry.
