Rombauer Vineyards purchased the Renwood Winery facility in Amador County. The sale includes 20 acres of vineyards, the wine production facility, and the tasting room located at 12225 Steiner Road in Plymouth, California.
The Renwood Winery brand and Renwood Ranch Vineyard will continue to be owned by its existing proprietors and marketed by Pacific Highway Wine & Spirits.
Rombauer Vineyards currently owns 148 acres, mostly planted to Zinfandel, in El Dorado County. The winery also enjoys numerous long-term relationships with growers throughout Amador County.
Rombauer Vineyards owns and farms over 670 acres of vineyards in various California appellations, including Carneros, Atlas Peak, Stags Leap, St. Helena, Calistoga and Sierra Foothills.
This new acquisition adds 20 acres to their holdings in the Sierra Foothills and allows Rombauer Vineyards to grow its popular Zinfandel, which has a cult-like following across the U.S.
